ここ2、3日の噂の通り、Softimage XSIはXSIが取れてAutodesk Softimageという名前になり、 次に出るのはver. 7.5、 さらに、Softimage 7.5のFAQにMod Toolが製品として提供されると書いてあるということは、 Vistaに対応した新しいMod Toolが近々出てくるということか。 しかしSource SDKをVistaに対応させるのはAutodeskというよりはValveの仕事だろうからなあ。 ValveがVistaとSoftimageをこれからも使い続けるならその副産物として Softimage Mod Toolも出てくるだろうけど、そうならない可能性もあるし。

しかしダウンロードファイルはsoftimage_xsi_601_modtool.exeのままだな。 xsiまだ残ってるな。 でも今にも7.5になりそうな勢いだな。
